My recent trip to Japan was a wonderful experience. Of all the places that I visited, my favorite was visiting Studio Ghibili in Tokyo. Its located in a district called Mitaka close to where i lived, Kichijyoji. My friend had pre booked the tickets making things so much easier for me to gain entry, otherwise the museum gets hundreds of visitors every hour and you cannot get a ticket at the Museum counter.
It was quite an experience trying to find the museum, had to walk past a beautiful park, lush green and friendly people spending their after-hours appreciating calmness in bustling Tokyo. After 20 mins walking through the Park, I started seeing a signboard pointing towards the museum.
The museum was a beautiful piece of architecture beauty. I could feel studio Ghibili reflected in its design. A long queue of Chinese had lined up already frivolously trying to figure out how to get in. All entries were made according to the pre booked timings.
I handed over my ticket and walked happily into the museum.
